Halloween Treats Garden Walk ~

Its garden tour time again, and we would like to "treat" you to a Halloween Garden Walk. Don't worry, just treats - no tricks!
Take a stroll through the blogs of all the Paper Gardeners and enjoy some not-so-spooky inspiration. This month we are focusing on Halloween - mostly on ways to serve up all those Halloween treats.
While you visit, take note of each designer's name and their special Halloween treat in their blog post. Once you finish your garden tour, send an E-mail to with the list of designers and their garden walk word.
Everyone who sends the correct list of designers and words will be entered in a random drawing to win a prize. You need to send an e-mail to the address above; please don't leave your list as a comment. You have until midnight (EST) on Wednesday, September 22 to send your list.
And the prize? How a bout this super cute set of Eat Cake Graphics Halloween stamps?

  Here's the list of gardeners for you to bop around to:
Alyssa {that's me!}

Halloween is such a fun holiday, isn't it??  Growing up we never really got candy - my parents own a health food store after all.  Halloween was the one time where we got to have all kinds of sweets.  For today's project, I found a cute little nut covered caramel apple to hand off in a bakery bag.  These bags are great because the inside is lined to keep foods fresh and a nice little window shows off the goodies.   I cut a frame using Spellbinders Labels 5 Nestabilities.  Simply place and tape your largest die, then tape a smaller die in the center, cut and emboss the frame and then sponge it with Distress Dusty Concord ink. Voila!  Gorgeous frame for your treat bag!
  I had to make a card to go along with my sweets.  This is a little witch from Eat Cake Graphics Best Witches cling set.  She is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics.  She is cut out with the Labels 5 dies and sponged with Distress Spiced Marmalade.  Her matting is sponged with the Dusty Concord like the treat bag.
Hope you enjoyed my little treat today!  My word for the hop is PIXIE STIX.  Have a fabulous weekend!  :o) alyssa

The cut out window looks awesome! And then to see that mirrored on the card is so great. I'm loving the Halloween colors. And the border at the top of the bag is super fun!
