Here are a couple more of the baby cards that I made to go to my friend's store. I initially made them as a set of 10 - to be sold as either thank you's, announcements or shower invites. I then decided to poll my lady friends and see what they would be willing to pay for a set. The most I could realistically get would be $20 - 25 retail. I don't think I will be doing these in sets, unfortunately. The base is SU Basic Gray with a mat of Night of Navy, then a PTI white that I ran through my Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots embossing folder. I seriously don't know what I would do without this thing! I love it! I used my classic oval (small & large) nestabilities to create the layering for the focal point - top is garden green, night of navy & white; bottom is night of navy, brocade blue & white. The onesies are from the PTI set
Bitty Baby blessings. They are stamped on SU DP Prestwick (retired, I think), cut out and adhered to the white oval directly. Each little elephant and ducky were stamped, colored with Copics and cut out, then mounted to the onesie with a rolled up glue dot. Baby was stamped with PTI's Mixed Messages. Then I stamped the larger elephants and duckies, colored them, cut them out and put fun flock on them. The ducks also have a little Glossy Accents on the beaks. The inside is matted with white which is stamped a couple of times with the smaller animals. I guess because of all the time involved, I would rather sell a card for a bit more than $2 a pop. What do you all think?
Before I go, I have to send you on over to Bev's blog. She has two
amazing candy draws going on. Hope you all have a fantastic Sunday! Thank you for stopping by! :o) lyss
