So much fun stuff out there!
First off, Bev has some super yummy stuff over on her blog. Here's the link to the direct post.
Next is a new stamper, Michelle, that I've found that is currently living over in Japan. I found her through this new *to me* stamping company by checking out some of the DT member blogs. It's a post a link type candy, so that's what I'm doing. I'll have to go back later, after I'm off the clock (wink), to check out her stuff. Looks like she has a fun job and gets to play with stamps all day! Lucky gal! She is offering up some cool Japanese stamps and 5 Copic colors, get this, of-your-choice! Cool, huh?
There She Goes is releasing a few new sets this month and some of her DT members are giving sets away. Go check out The Paper Landscaper and Bevithia.
I'm so excited because I have found the stamp company that I mentioned above. It's called Bombshell Stamps. They have cool, classic, sassy pin up girl and tattoo images! So unique for the stamping community. I even emailed my husband with a link cuz I am so in love with their images. I can't wait to see what else is in store...I'm hoping for a nice gypsy head and a cool pirate pin up and classic vintage swallows. The list could go on and on!
I have more posts of actual creations. I've been busy creating a bunch of samples to possibly sell in a friend's new baby store. (Not sure if I've mentioned that here before.) So maybe tomorrow, after I drop them off, I'll be able to actually get some eye candy up here. Have a great afternoon and weekend!! :o) lyss

Wish I had a clever mind
In the way of stamps, there are no secrets as to what I love. Two of those things would be Whiff of Joy stamps and Jen's Sketch for You To Try. I have combined the two to create this little ditty:
Charlie is colored with Copics. The sad thing is that I had another image that my husband colored much better than me, but I mounted it crooked. When I tried to fix it, I ripped it!! I hate that! Charlie is mounted on Buckaroo Blue (SU! retired) and black. The card base is Basic Gray. I'm not sure who the maker of the snowflake brads is. The black snowflake is a Spellbinders die - I am so excited that Hobby Lobby is now carrying Spellbinders dies. Granted, they don't carry all of them, but who cares! Wait for the 40% coupon and get what you don't already have!! The sentiment is a couple Lizze Anne Designs that I pieced together. I'm sad that I didn't have a cute, clever saying to go with this. Oh well! Maybe when my brain is working a bit better! :o) The rest is pretty basic. If you have any questions, just ask! I'm off to bed now - I just wanted to get something posted for this week. Hope you all have a great weekend! :o) lyss

I love Whiff of Joy...

If you read my blog, you know how much I love my Whiff of Joy! Here's a sneaky peek at the new stamps for spring. Doesn't she look cute?? Maybe like she is wearing a kimono?? If you click here, it will take you over to Katharina's blog where she is giving a chance to win all the new stamps in a kit. If you click over on the side bar, it will take you directly to the WoJ site, where you can pre-order the kit till Jan 26.
Have a great day! :o) lyss

The person under the stairs...

See this mess??? This is why I am not doing anything right now. Clutter seems to be in every area of my being and every area of my house, if you listen to my DH that is! I can't find anything, I can't find any space to do anything. And I can't seem to clear the cobwebs away from my mojo to be able to create anything! Perhaps, once I clear the clutter, my mojo will jump out from it's hiding place and smack me right in the forehead. Ha! One can only hope, right?? LOL :o) In my defense, my space is small. It is literally the closet under the stairs! My light burned out, so I am having to use that gigantic flashlight of my husband's. And my poor little pumpkin has his first all out cold, so he's feeling pretty puny and glassy eyed and snuggley for some momma comfort.
Anyway, I really just wanted to post an excuse! :o) I also wanted to enable you all to take a look at a lovely lady's blog. Rach does some amazing work and is offering up some fantabulous blog candy. So pop on over and give her a hello! Hope you all have a wonderful day!! :o) lyss
