The Whiff of Joy design team is having a challenge to create congratulatory cards for one of the illustrator's, Alison Acton. She has recently given birth to a baby boy, Sam. I made this little 5x5 card using a couple of cute techniques that I've seen around blog land. The water is made from the negative sides of a scallop square nestabilitie. I sponged the edges for some depth and glued them down before cutting and embossing the image. The sails are pieced and popped up on a couple of glue dots. I figured, the less frills the better! Hope you like it!!
Also, Katharina is having a blog candy for the new winter kit of Whiff of Joy stamps. Hop on over a pre-order your kit today!! Have a great day! ~lyss
