Lookie what I got!!!

I won Suzanne's blog candy!! Stickles, Prima flowers, ribbon, stamps, paper, glaze pens!!! All kinds of goodies and fun stuff. If you love to color and whimsical style, you must check out Suzanne's blog, Scrap Bitz - plus, she does some amazing videos on Copic coloring, Flower Soft, etc. Thanks so much Suzanne!

K, so my friend Annie also had some blog candy that I directed you to last week. The kicker was that you had to create a card based on her sketch. I promise I played!! And I truly tried to play by the rules! I had the cards finished and photographed on Sunday; I've just had a hard time getting around to posting {insert sheepish grin}.

I used a new Penny Black stamp that I just love for baby cards and colored it up with some colored pencils and OMS. They're cut out with one of the new Nestabilities Label dies (2, I think). Card base is SU! Bashful Blue stamped with PTI Polka Dot Basics in their Fresh Snow ink. I love that ink! Cleans off like a dream and much easier to use than white craft ink IMO. The thin vertical strip is also with another stamp from Polka Dot Basics stamped in PTI Spring Rain ink - it was out on my desk and the two colors are very similar. I then used a white gel pen to dot the centers of the open dots. The cute little hedgehog has some white flocking on his belly and the daisies have Orange Peel Stickles just at the bases of the centers. The sentiment is SU! Riveting. The different scallop circles are cut with Nestabilities small and large scallop circles. The base is Brilliant Blue. Hope you like!
Pretty much the same details on this card - the colors are PTI Raspberry Fizz and SU! Pink Pirouette
Have a fantabulous evening! The weather here in Colorado is gorgeous - think high 70's and sunshiny - too bad we're supposed to get rain/snow this weekend! I hope this year isn't a crazy weather year like we had last year. TTFN!! :o) lyss

Congrats on winning all that stuff! I can't wait to see what you make with it. Your cards are darling! I really need to branch out and start coloring. I shy away from images that need lots of coloring. My LSS sells Copics and 2 of their workers are now Copic Certified and they give classes. I hope to have money one day for a small Copic collection. For now, I'm going to get some good pencils.

Isn't amazing how different and image can look just by using different colours. Wonderful cards.
